A visit through the Headwaters of the Florida Everglades will be the wildest adventure you experience in Central Florida.
While we’re mainly known for our Everglades airboat tours, there’s so much more to experience at Wild Florida. At Wild Florida, you can also visit more than 200 native and exotic animals inside our Gator Park, eat unique swamp delicacies served at the Chomp House Grill, and get WILD with our animals during one of our interactive animal encounters and, coming soon, drive-thru Safari Park! We’re just a 45-minute drive from Orlando’s major theme parks and have enough adventure to share with everyone.
Explore a part of pristine marshland that hasn’t changed from when early pioneers settled in the 1800s. Climb aboard a U.S. Coast Guard certified airboat and catch a glimpse of eagles, turkeys, wild boar, roseate spoonbills, alligators in Florida and other native wildlife. After your airboat tour, make sure to stroll through our Gator Park where you can see lemurs, sloths, zebras, and other animals native to South America, Africa, and Australia.
Wild Florida is a feast for the eyes and the soul, but we haven’t forgotten about your stomach. The Chomp House Grill turns out some of the best barbecue around, and our Swamp Slushy – a frozen blend of mango, orange, and passionfruit – is reason enough to visit us in the heartland of the Florida Everglades.
Early morning, afternoon, sunset, or night airboat tours give you the opportunity to experience a different side of Florida you don’t often see on brochures.
Since 2010, our goal has been to provide an unforgettable Everglades experience that promotes a connection with animals while inspiring education and conservation.Inside our Gator Park, you and your family will be able to get up close and personal with more than 200 native and exotic animals! Take your time exploring the interesting habitats and heritage of our animals. Talk to our animal care team about what it’s like to work with these amazing animals and how our population of lemurs, zebras, Watusi, bobcats, two-toed sloths and other exotic animals have grown over the years.
There’s something for every member of your family inside our Gator Park. Kids will love feeding and learning more about the baby animals in our Petting Zoo. Mom and Dad can rest easy knowing that there is a covered playground for kids to run around when they need to burn off some energy. Grandma, Grandpa and the whole extended family will love exploring our Hawk Swamp where owls often roost in the coolness of the cypress tree-canopied boardwalk. Then, the whole family can walk through our shaded bird aviary and feed tropical birds found around the world!
To help build a connection between people and animals, we offer interactive programs ranging from becoming an animal keeper for a day to taking selfies with our Wild Florida animal family members during one of our animal encounters.
Whether you are a visitor from across the globe or you live in our neighborhood, you owe it to yourself to experience the wild side of Florida.
