About Wild Florida

Wild Florida Family

In 2010, Wild Florida set out to preserve one of the few pieces of private property on Lake Cypress in the headwaters of the Florida Everglades. With an eye on polishing one of the jewels that is a throwback to what Florida used to be like, Wild Florida gives Orlando visitors and local residents a glimpse of what it’s like to be lost in the Middle of Nowhere.

Hop on board one of our U.S. Coast Guard certified airboats for a tour into the wilds of Orlando. You’ll see alligators, turkeys, wild hogs, eagles, and many other animals who call the Florida Everglades home. You will be amazed at what you are able to see in this little piece of heaven we call Wild Florida.

In our Wildlife Park, we have over 200 animals on display, including zebras, sloths, lemurs, bobcats, and other exotic species. We have a walk-in bird aviary with ducks, parrots and other birds from all over the world. Our animal keepers are very knowledgeable about the habits and history of the animals in our Wildlife Park. You can even fulfill your lifelong dream by working as an animal keeper for a day. It’s only one of the many interactive programs we have with our animals.

If you have ever wanted to see a real cattle operation with real cowboys, you should consider our Ranch Buggy Tour. You’ll get to ride the range of one of the oldest cattle operations in Florida (the Doc Partin Ranch) and learn how this family ranching operation helped make the Sunshine State the tenth largest beef cattle operation in the nation.

While you are feasting on all this natural beauty, we have something to delight another one of your senses. You must taste all the awesome barbecue, burgers, and exotic meals that come out of the Chomp House Grill! Try our Swamp Slushy – a delicious blend of mango, orange, and passion fruit.

Wild Florida is also the perfect place to host your birthday party, wedding, a team meeting, or any other event you would like to make extra special. Our air-conditioned Cypress Ballroom can accommodate up to 225, and we also have a 1,500 square foot covered deck on the beautiful shores of Lake Cypress. We can coordinate all that you’ll need, from food to music, for your upcoming event!
